Hybrid Real Estate leases and manages fully-furnished, move-in ready homes in Elwood, Victoria 3184. Wide tree-lined avenues, art deco apartment blocks and a village that people actually walk to. It is the calm version of St Kilda, five minutes away. Homes come styled and equipped, so you can arrive with a suitcase and be settled the same night.
Elwood beach and the foreshore trail are a short walk from most of the suburb, and the trail runs uninterrupted to Port Melbourne one way and Brighton the other. Point Ormond is the lookout at the end with views back across the bay. There is an outdoor gym at Elwood Park if you would rather train outside than pay for a membership.
Where Broadway, Ormond Road and Glenhuntly Road meet is the heart of the suburb: independent cafes, bakeries, boutiques and a handful of wine bars for the evening. River's has been a local fixture for years. Coles on Glenhuntly Road covers the weekly shop.
The 96 tram on St Kilda Road runs frequently into the CBD, and the 67 along Glenhuntly Road is the second option. You get the connectivity of an inner suburb without the noise, which is why it suits people who work in the city but want to come home to somewhere still.

A few homes from our furnished portfolio. Styling and layout vary by property.
Elwood furnished stock leans toward larger apartments and period homes. Interwar and art deco blocks along Ormond Road, Barkly Street and Broadway supply most of the two bedroom furnished apartments, and furnished houses and townhouses appear regularly in the streets between the canal and the beach. Ceilings are high, floorplans are generous, and off street parking is more common here than in St Kilda.
The 96 tram along St Kilda Road is the main link into the city and runs very frequently. The 67 along Glenhuntly Road heads toward Flinders Street as the alternative, and the 246 and 600 buses cover local connections. St Kilda is ten to fifteen minutes by tram or bike, and the foreshore trail gets you to Port Melbourne or Brighton on foot or by bike without touching a road.
Every home we lease in Elwood is managed by our own team, not outsourced. Current tenants can log a maintenance request at any hour through the 24/7 assistant on our maintenance page, and reach the office on (03) 9070 8429 during business hours. Owners and investors can talk to us about management at pm@hybridrealestate.com.au.
The 96 tram on St Kilda Road runs frequently and takes around eighteen minutes to the CBD. The 67 tram along Glenhuntly Road is the other option.
Elwood Junction, where Broadway, Ormond Road and Glenhuntly Road meet, is the heart of the suburb. Independent cafes, boutiques and restaurants are all within easy walking distance, and the supermarket is on Glenhuntly Road.
Depending which part of Elwood you are in, St Kilda can be right next door. Otherwise it is about ten to fifteen minutes by tram or bike, so St Kilda's full range of dining and nightlife is very accessible.
Excellent. Elwood beach, the Elster Creek canal path and Elwood Park are all walkable, and the foreshore trail is one of the better continuous runs in Melbourne. There is also an outdoor gym at Elwood Park.
