City on the doorstep, parks on both sides.
← All suburb guidesHybrid Real Estate leases and manages fully-furnished, move-in ready homes on the St Kilda Road and Queens Road corridor, Melbourne 3004. It is the residential edge of the city: high-rise apartments on a wide boulevard, with Albert Park Lake and Fawkner Park either side and the CBD under ten minutes by tram. Homes come styled and equipped, so you can arrive with a suitcase and be settled the same night.
St Kilda Road is one of the best served tram corridors in Melbourne. The 3, 16, 64, 67 and 72 all run it, plus the 96 light rail down to St Kilda beach. Frequencies are high enough that you stop checking timetables, and the trip into town is often faster than from inside some CBD buildings.
Fawkner Park and Albert Park Lake are both walkable, and the Royal Botanic Gardens are a short walk north. The Shrine of Remembrance and the Arts Centre are close enough to be part of a normal weekend. It is one of the greener residential corridors this close to a city centre.
St Kilda Road is a wide boulevard rather than a nightlife strip, so it is noticeably calmer than living in the CBD itself. Prahran Market is about ten minutes south for the weekly shop, and Chapel Street covers everything else.

A few homes from our furnished portfolio. Styling and layout vary by property.
Furnished rentals in this corridor are almost entirely apartments in mid and high-rise buildings along St Kilda Road and Queens Road, typically one and two bedroom, and often with building amenities like a gym or pool. It suits corporate relocations and anyone on a city-based contract who wants space and parkland rather than a CBD tower.
Multiple tram routes run the St Kilda Road corridor, including the 3, 16, 64, 67 and 72, with most reaching the CBD in under ten minutes. The 96 light rail runs south to St Kilda beach. Prahran Market is roughly ten minutes south by tram and South Melbourne Market about fifteen.
